EcoFlow's X-Stream charging is the headline: 0 to 80% in under an hour from a wall outlet. No other unit this small can match that. The 600W output handles blenders, small power tools, and mid-size appliances — double the AC2A's capacity.
The AC2A exists for one reason: get a LiFePO4 power station into your hands for under $200. It charges phones, runs a CPAP overnight, and powers a laptop workday. That's its lane, and it owns it. You're not running a blender on this — but you're not spending $349 either.
Best overall value: BLUETTI AC2A ($199). If $199 is your ceiling, there is no competition — the AC2A is the only LiFePO4 unit under $200. Best performance: EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus ($349). On paper, the DELTA 2 Max and AC200L are twins: 2,048Wh capacity, 2,400W output, LiFePO4. The difference is charging speed. EcoFlow's X-Stream fills this unit from 0 to 80% in 68 minutes — twice as fast as the AC200L. If you're a contractor who needs to top off between job sites or a storm chaser who can't afford to wait, that speed matters.

Whole-home backup territory. $3,500–$4,000 buys enough capacity and output to run your house — fridge, router, lights, and (for EcoFlow) even central AC. These are Tesla Powerwall alternatives that ship to your door without an installer.
This is where EcoFlow pulls decisively ahead. The DELTA Pro Ultra outputs 7,200W continuous — more than double the EP500Pro's 3,000W. That's enough to run a 3-ton central AC unit, a well pump, a full kitchen, and every light in your house simultaneously.
The expansion ceiling is absurd: 90kWh with additional battery packs. That's multiple days of whole-home power with solar recharging. The Smart Home Panel ($1,599 separate) provides automatic grid-failover — power drops, the DELTA Pro Ultra kicks in within 10ms. No transfer switch, no manual switchover.
At $3,999, it's only $500 more than the EP500Pro but delivers 2.4x the output. After the 30% federal tax credit, the net cost drops to roughly $2,799.
The EP500Pro is a solid essential-load backup — fridge, router, lights, fans, phone charging. Its 3,000W output handles everything except central AC and heavy motor loads. The built-in wheels make it surprisingly easy to move for a 168 lb unit.
The 20ms UPS switchover keeps sensitive electronics protected. Expandable to ~15kWh with B230/B300 expansion batteries. At $3,499, it's $500 cheaper than the DELTA Pro Ultra — but the gap in output power (3,000W vs 7,200W) is massive.
